It's that time of year again!! What time of year, you ask? Let me tell you. It is THE best time of the year to get photos taken for seniors graduating in 2015. Why is the summer ahead of their senior year good time? Well, for starters, the kids are out of school, the weather is sunny (most of the time) and things are about to get SUPER busy for your senior. Secondly, yearbooks will start asking for senior photos at exactly the point in time when the weather is at its worst. And let me tell you, that's not the optimal time to be taking photos. The scenery is dead, noses look red and cold, and while all experiences with Mae Bolton Photography are fun, let's just say these are a little less fun (i.e. the shivering 'kinda' gets in the way a little bit). The final reason, and probably most important reason, is that it gives your senior the chance to get his or her photos for FREE.
If you are like most seniors/parents of seniors you've heard about senior reps before, but don't know all the details. The concept is simple. We work as a team. The senior works hard to promote Mae Bolton Photography and I work hard to get the senior the BEST possible photos, dedicated to highlighting this special turning point in their lives. Remember, it's another one of those moments they will only experience once in their lives.
The criteria are simple. To be a rep, you have to be graduating in 2015 and be willing to work hard to promote Mae Bolton Photography during your senior year. Reps need to make at least 2 referrals during the school year (referrals must book) in order to keep their free photos. We do everything we can to help you make those referrals. If you have lots of friends and are willing to talk to them about your photos, then you really won't have a hard time making those referrals (when kids see their friends GORGEOUS photos, they always want in - parents too!). Most of our reps from previous years have made MORE than the required number of referrals.
Here's how things work:
1) We take your senior photos sometime during the next few weeks.
2) You get up to 10 images from the session to use to help promote us. These are posted in an online gallery where you can download, share the link, or post the photos to social media.
3) We also give you rep cards (like business cards) that have your cute face on them and my contact info (they also act as a $20 off coupon).
4) If you get 2 referrals (anytime during the school year), you get full access to your entire gallery of edited, high-resolution images to use and print as you wish (yay!). The only thing you would pay for, is professional hair/makeup, should you choose to get it done for the session (highly recommended. I can set up an appointment for you with my preferred hair/makeup artist).
5) If you don't get your referrals on time, you simply owe the balance of the session at the end of the school year ($250 - $299, click for pricing details here).
