Rustic Mountain Bride in Salt Lake

Ok, I know I get like this every year. Busy wedding season hits and my blog and other social media get rudely pushed aside. Will it help if I say that I'll try to do better? I'll say it if you think it will help. Well, luckily, I really think it was worth the wait this time. Thanks for being patient! Here is a gorgeous bridal photo shoot that could wait no longer to be posted. Seriously. I've heard it saying "Post me! Post me!" since before it was even transferred from the memory cards. This was my biggest to date (and quite possibly most favorite) collaboration. It was also done in the pouring rain. That's right. Cats and dogs, people. Cats and dogs. It included top-of-the-line wedding professionals who are worth their weight in gold. If you are even thinking about getting engaged or plan to some day, write these ladies' information down. Or better yet, just come here for your wedding one-stop-shop. I couldn't believe the amount of detail they poured into each aspect of this collaboration. Come rain or shine, this is your team. Anyway, I could go on and on forever about how amazing they are, but I'll just let you take a look at the photos and decide for yourself. And please, for the love, someone let us do your entire wedding next year. One word would describe your wedding: BRILLIANT. These gals are going to be all over the wedding scene soon, folks. Get 'em while you can.

Special thanks to our beautiful model, Demarie, for putting up with our crazy ideas and just going with the flow. Special thanks also goes to my bff, Camille and awesome hubby, Rhett for being the best photo assistants a girl could ask for. And a final special thanks goes to my good friend Emily for helping me scout awesome photo locations, because sometimes there's not enough time in a day.

Arika's Senior Photos in Salt Lake City

I don't know why I haven't already blogged photos from this session. It's one of my very favorite sessions ever! The ingredients were all present for the perfect storm and the pieces just sort of, well, fell together. Now that I've got the recipe, I can't wait to do more senior shoots. Isn't Arika just gorgeous? If you know of an outgoing, soon-to-be senior (class of 2014), I am currently looking for senior reps. What is a senior rep? A senior rep acts as a spokesmodel for Mae Bolton Photography to all their friends. Sound tough? It's not. We make it as easy as possible. Our reps get their senior sessions for FREE, including hair and makeup. This photo session will be this summer (the best time to take photos). When reps refer friends, they earn credit toward prints, digital images and other goodies. We provide easy-to-share images as well as personalized rep cards to pass along to friends. Sound like something you'd like (or someone you know) would like to do? Please email me at info@maeboltonphoto.com. I only take a few senior reps each year and I'm excited to get going on this year's rep program.

Secondly, if you haven't already, please sign up to receive our email newsletters. Our newsletters allow you to receive important info on special offers and upcoming events. If you are quick, you still have a chance to win a $25 prepaid visa gift card by signing up this week. Sign up here: http://mad.ly/signups/76073/join

K Family Photos in Salt Lake City

Take a look at these cute people! Getting to know cute families is one of the best things about this job. Seriously, what a fun bunch. This happens to be the family of a good friend of mine from college, Alicia. Alicia's brother, Will, just returned home from an international LDS mission which happened to be the perfect time to get family photos taken. Wouldn't you agree? But seriously, guys. There is no occasion needed to get family photos taken. There's no time like the present (especially since I still have openings for regular and mini sessions available this summer). If you are the type of person who needs an occasion to have photos taken, Mother's Day is just around the corner. Why not give the lovely women in your life the priceless gift of photos? I have beautiful gift cards ready for purchase. Just say the word. Anyway, don't kill me but here are only a few of the cute photos from the shoot. It's a personal preference thing, but I just love the dreamy touch that the solar flares bring to these images :)

Secondly, I know it's been a while since I blogged and I know a lot of  you are waiting for news on the Snow Princess Book. Well, you are in luck. The book has been created and let me just tell you, it is GORGEOUS. As soon as I get a breather (school, day job, night job and life have gotten in the way lately) I will take some photos and post them for you. Maybe even this weekend. Maybe. As more news, plans are currently underway for our Spring Princess shoot. That's right, there's another one coming. Our model has already been selected, but moms, if you are at all interested in one of these for your little princess, please contact me. I can't wait to show you how cute these are turning out. Oh, and if you missed it, we also were flattered to be featured (and soon to be printed) in Child Model Magazine as a featured photographer for our efforts on the Snow Princess shoot. More details about that to come.

Here's how to contact me: info@maeboltonphoto.com
